ahahahahaha I went through a stage of looking for new forums and just diving straight in! hahahahaha On one board, this lady took great exception to my avatar photo :banana

The latest musical offering I have is a collaboration with DJSpaceAce who took some depressing lyrics I had sung and put music to it. Mike Burn mastered it and it's turned into a great song :D Amazing what can happen here :)

Did you see my Christmas card photo? Or my December gig photo? Actually you've just reminded me to ask for an opinion..... hahahahahahahahahaha

Just listened to "Our Dark Future" btw..., very interesting and quite a departure from your more "Bangle-ish" sound.. Different, it's good you're not locked into one genre..

Yeah I looked up curry..., a spicey sauce added to usuallt seafood according to the definition.. Well I do love seafood..

These songs coming up have been laying around for a few years now..., a few still need lyrics but that always gets put off till the last minute..

I think they're my best though, i think you'll like them.., about March 1st. they'll start dropping, I'll keep you posted..

Thanks Greg for listening to that track. It's all down to DJSpaceAce for making me sound different. I just emailed him the vocals, the rest as they say is history :hb

Bangles-ish? Really? I always thought of myself as a female Robert Smith a-la-The Cure........ :banana

I thought you were teasing me about curry! Indian food has a lot of curry - spicy food using spices such as cumin, chilis, cardamon, paprika etc. We also have curry in Chinese food - it's more a flavour than a hot thing. Thai Curries are REALLY SPICY HOT! I do eat seafood every now & then so

Love Cod, Lobster and just about anything really, and being close to the Great Lakes, alot of goodies from there also.. (Never big on spicy food Chris.., Italian Saugae is about as spicy as I get though I do remember this one great buritto house in Chicago I used to always go too..)

Remebering your music, I recall very good harmonies, lead guitar, vocals & production.. I do recall a Bangle flavor there but at the same time it was very unique..., and the songwriting stood out most..

But your in 3 bands if I remeber correctly??? Throw up a few links if you can.. I want to give you a listen again..

Chris - try this as a nice base curry:

2 tbl cumin

2 tbl fenugreek

1 tbl peppercorns (white if you can)

1 1/2 tsp mustard seed

1/2 cup coriander

1 tbl ground ginger

1 1/2 tsp chili powder (you choose how hot a powder)

1/4 cup tumeric

Grind with blender or mortar, whatever makes you happy.

You can store it for a few months in a good spice jar. Fish, beef, lamb - all go great.

Greg! hahaha So you live near a Great Lake - they're HUGE!! hahaha That's OK I'm not too into really hot food, although I love a kick in flavour every now and then :banana

Yes that's an excellent description of Sisters of Sharon!!! Well the other bands are "Thinking Out Loud" who are very active now and the band I focus most of my attention on. The third band I'm in is a teen Christian band (!) which is now going to just be a summer thing as 1/2 the band has gone to University.... No links for "Smoking Monkeys" only ever had live recordings. Oh I know! I'll put them up at 1sound.com hahhahahahaha :banana

Geosphere!! That sounds great! I will make some up and try it out. Thank you!
