Luckily expired, otherwise it would definitely have been dangerous.

Expired. Hmmm. You are suggesting Galmin that maybe it is not capable of killing? I would not bet on it...no way. But I would like to see them try to return the merchandise for being defective. ;)

BTW, where did they get it if there was supposed to be none in Iraq? I guess somebody forgot to tell them that. ;)

Exactly. I am however pretty sure that, had they been 'fresh', they would have been good for detecting nervgas, since that is the function of test-kits (thus, this is not a WMD trial-offer-test-kit) :D

There weren't supposed to be any in Iraq? ;)

Ok, new rationale for going to war: Saddam had test-kits! :lol

Why have test kits if there is no need for them? Where there are smoke detector kits, there is the possibility of fire.

...and let us not forget the vials of "suspected" (being very conservative here) sarin gas.

Yeah, they keep this type stuff around for decorative purposes only, Gal.

The real point here is when that when critics think of WMDs they usually think of giant missles and massive buildings, not something that could fit in a briefcase. And if we were talking your basic simple nuke, one would very easily fit on the back of the truck that carried this briefcase.

Beats me. Maybe they do not trust the USMC to fall back on conventional weaponry, maybe the kits were there in the arsenal since the Iran-Iraq wars. Still, test-kits do not a WMD make.

The 40 'vials' of "suspected" sarin gas found in a briefcase and photographed that we can see on top of this thread?

Sigh. We will see when the tests are done if this is vials of sarin or merely test-kits. In-between-info says it is test-kits, though.

I am more worried about looting that took place at Muthanna that Charles Duelfer talked about (you know, UN-sealed structures that were abandoned and not secured but hey, securing the Oil ministry was probably far more important).

It's a frickin' chemical test-kit left over from the Iran-Iraq war ya frickin' scare-mongering god-bothering creeps.

We're gonna go down in history as the bully-nation that made another country disarm and starved it out before we invaded it then made up stories of WMD as an excuse to flatten the friggin' place.

You're a frickin' disgrace to all our nation stands for.

"propaganda"...interesting...that's what I think of most of your posts, joe. Interesting also is the way you attempt to lay blame on the US for starving out Iraq. Sadam was busy smuggling in arms and smuggling out oil through Syria, and had enough money to feed his people ten times over...if he really cared to. The people of Iraq were Sadams responsibility...not ours. If he was a responsible leader, he could and would have smuggled in all the food and supplies his people needed. It's a good thing for all concerned that he was relieved of that responsibility.
