How is life?
Lots of mishaps happened over here recently.......
....but Konichiwa!
Yesterday the mikeburn and friends band played the first gig for months together with Kate Cassidy again, since her accident. She broke her left shoulder and her arm *ouch*... but now she's back with us and we are very happy that she graces us with surprising good health and musical spirit!
We had the opportunitiy to play on the "Hearts and Ears For Asia" festival here in Frankfurt/Germany. The audience was 95% japanese and it was just too cool. Very passionate listeners and applauders! They applauded even for grave mistakes! LOL
It was a very positive experience and we were served the finest imaginable Sushi backstage, prepared by the real japanese world-champion in that discipline. Fantastic 6-stars meal! I could sit in that Sushi stuff -this well prepared- all day long!
Here's a video from yesterday, where we played an old song, but extended to over 8 minutes in some sort of spontaneous jamming manner. Lots of guitar mishaps HAHA and unfortunately only with the sound of the camera-microphone, but with some enjoyable moments I think - foremost hope :
