There are records of 15 million which were detained.



What you can interpret in that is, that Jews only made up roughly a half of all people detained and obviously have the biggest lobby today still, because nobody really talks about the other 9 million Roma, Sinti, Gypsies, mentally ill and gays.

11. In Africa: 1,700,000 (various Communist and other regimes and rebels.)



12. By Communist Poland: 1,600,000 (mostly ethnic Germans post-1945.)

Don't know where you got your stats on the Soviet Union, but I've heard/read figures ranging from 70-110 million...making Stalin the #1 dirtbag in recorded history.
