Mike Burn - defamation of character

Mike, as board administrator would you please check the the thread about the Israeli writer I just posted? This character Dreamtones accused me of anti-semitism. That is a downright lie and constitutes defamation of character. Is there anything you can do about it?

Good advice. I grew up with five brothers and when we would "start up" inside the house - like brothers do, hahaha - she would tell us "Outside with that!!".

T'was the point I was trying to make from the get-go.



And Chris basically said it very well; you don't convert people to your way of thinking by constantly insulting their intelligence; you just make formidable enemies.

.... but the accusation of anti-semitism cannot in any way, shape or form be equated with the accusation of youth and naivety.



Only someone very young and naive would think that. Anti-semitism is a hateful and illegal prejudice, whereas youth and naivety are two things I wish I could have again.



I think Ron highlighted the key to this problem; diversity of views ..... except, as usual, he has no idea what it really means.



I'm sick to death of seeing international politics boards swamped with American neo-con ideology. Mike Burn knows what happens as well as I do - they start off with a diversity of views and then the neo-cons dominate in an arrogant and aggressive manner, then arrogant and aggressive lefties like me wade in to restore the balance (or sometimes vive-versa). I would prefer to see a genuine diversity of views here from all over the world, including radical Islam and all the different religions, communists, socialists, liberals, conservatives (genuine ones, not neo-cons, there's a big difference, and genuine Burkeian conservatives are an endangered species).



To be honest, the board is pretty dead because most people have been scared off or bored to death. I would be willing to limit my posts to one a week and spend a bit of time advertising the board around a diversity of places and inviting contributions. I'm sick of reading my own posts ....... but not quite as sick as I am of reading Ron's and Seismo's.

I've just this minute read the thread HERE and I take back some of what I've just said. I noticed the sexualised comments made by Anamoly to Debbie Mannas and I'm pointing out to you as moderator that they contravene the board regulations and also Statute Law in most countries. In my opinion this is the language of a disgusting barrack-room thug and anyone throwing this at a respectable young woman should be banned forthwith. I will personally boycott any board that allows him to post.

This is just intolerable. Quite simply barbaric. Could you please do something about this, and if not pass it onto Mike Burn?

Chris (or Mike)...ban me and give this poor, sick, psychotic bastard and his puppet what he and she want...then maybe all the insulting will cease...and I say that with reservation since the insults I posted were for the most part REactions, not actions.



And unlike Mr. Hall, this actually will be my last post in here...I won't leave and come back half-a-dozen times to stir up trouble for you and Mike no matter what they post about me and mine. He's even working his nasty little game on you now.
