Rev, I got the Party for you....

From the Libertarian Party Platform:

Quote:

Foreign Aid

We support the elimination of tax-supported military, economic, technical, and scientific aid to foreign governments or other organizations. We support the abolition of government underwriting of arms sales. We further support abolition of federal agencies that make American taxpayers guarantors of export-related loans, such as the Export-Import Bank and the Commodity Credit Corporation. We also oppose the participation of the U.S. government in international commodity circles which restrict production, limit technological innovation, and raise prices.

We call for the repeal of all prohibitions on individuals or firms contributing or selling goods and services to any foreign country or organization.

Taxation

Since we believe that all persons are entitled to keep the fruits of their labor, we oppose all government activity that consists of the forcible collection of money or goods from individuals in violation of their individual rights. Specifically, we:

recognize the right of any individual to challenge the payment of taxes on moral, religious, legal, or constitutional grounds;

oppose all personal and corporate income taxation, including capital gains taxes;

support the repeal of the Sixteenth Amendment, and oppose any increase in existing tax rates and the imposition of any new taxes;

support the eventual repeal of all taxation; and

support a declaration of unconditional amnesty for all those individuals who have been convicted of, or who now stand accused of, tax resistance.

As an interim measure, all criminal and civil sanctions against tax evasion should be terminated immediately.

We oppose as involuntary servitude any legal requirements forcing employers or business owners to serve as tax collectors for federal, state, or local tax agencies.

We oppose any and all increases in the rate of taxation or categories of taxpayers, including the elimination of deductions, exemptions, or credits in the spurious name of "fairness," "simplicity," or alleged "neutrality to the free market." No tax can ever be fair, simple, or neutral to the free market.

In the current fiscal crisis of states and municipalities, default is preferable to raising taxes or perpetual refinancing of growing public debt.

Then.....Vote Libertarian.

Because what we've had for the last 60 years pretty much SUCKS. :D

You can't, unless you edit it....and seeing as how you love to edit my posts, I wouldn't be surprised.

BLAH BLAH

The only one who edited OWN posts to cover direct threats like "The FBI has a office in your city" and other shite in the last week here was you.

That may be, though you've promised to give FIVE (5!) times more than you already do. :lamp

There ain't a nickel's worth of difference between Dubya and Herman; both are signed, sealed, and delivered to Big Business and Special Interests. Nothing more than Political Pawns using Middle Class taxpayers to finance their Master's desires.

All OECD countries pledged to reach a level of foreign aid payment representing 0,7% of their GNI three decades ago.

It is common knowledge.

What time was it then given that they were to reach this point? And was it only DAC contributions that were to count towards this amount? BTW, I think you need to refigure your math. ;)

The average level the last 5 years: 0,12.

0,12*6=0,72

This equals about 5 times more

I like how you average things for your benfit. There was nothing in your previous post about an average. I believe the DAC figure ALONE for 2003 was 1.6. 1.6 X 5 = 8...which is greater than 7. :t

Ok then: 2003 was 0.16

0.70/0.16=4,375

Thus you are lagging by a factor of 4,375. Not that it makes much of a difference.
