I have always admired and respected the General...he's probably the only honest SOB we have up there...just a victim of bullshit and deception fed to him by con artists...

...and at the expense of probably having to leave Mississippi (for trying to elect an African-American via Jamaica), I will cast a write-in vote for him for President over all the other garbage in the running this year....I'm goin' to Florida soon anyway, so what tha hell....

As an ex-soldier, I have very little respect for most politicians...if there's one thing you can count on, the Rich Man will pat you on the back, tell you how proud he is of you, and then let you go die for him; plain and simple.

interesting conversation. surely they were innocent victums. however contractors to us govt. in iraq make a zillion dollars because of the risk. not right however as my afgani gas station owner said... as well as my older brother who has an mba and very smart.... there are 2 people in the world who are happy we are in iraq bush and rumsfield. both said the same thing. i ask them both... but don't you think they are glad saddam husain is out. both replied yes and since we got rid of him they want us to leave them alone and get the feck out of their country...

still they did not deserve it... but ...

I have a feeling that if he ran for pres he'd win, but he'd be a pawn for the neo-con hawks and helpless to fight against it. I like Powell. Its unfortunate he's had to go against his principles - and very obvious too. I wonder if he can sleep at night. I'm sure the others are doing just fine.

One things for sure. If the US votes the war criminal out of power it WILL gain back the respect of the world. If it doesnt, it shows such a lack of discernment and such blind partisanship, I dread to think what will happen next.

Did you see those pictures Mike posted. Those are civilians who are trying to rebuild a country. And do you see what they do to them. You probably don't give a damn about American lives like Mikey does. but your so sure, those men are in it for the money. You hypocrites like Mike are all same. You want peace, you want prosperity, you want the end to tryants and when somebody has the balls to go in and do something you can only respond in bullshit which you feel is worth its weight in gold.

You people are so full of hate for America you are willing to bash and spread your venom to any American willing to help or rebuild. @#%$, why the hell did we kick out Saddam when the very morons we helped are now doing this to our troops and civilians.
