i duno they got enough votes to control congress for about 40 years. roosevelt 2.5 terms, truman 1.5 terms, kennedy .5, johnson 1.5, carter 1, clinton 2. eisenhower 1 or 2, nixon 1.5, ford .5, reagan 2, bush 1, bush 1.
about 9 to 8 in last 17 elections. most all the governers in deep south since 1865 or so as well as those state legislatures.
personally when it comes to politics i think they are smarter.
besides liberman will never win. usa will not elect a jew any time soo i do not think, be it right or wrong. i think it hurt gore. there were even rumors clinton and clinton helped gore "decide" on liberman to help him lose so bush would win and make it easier for hillary to get in later.

Problem is, there is no difference between democrats and republicans anymore. But I like President Bush. He reminds me of me. He pisses everybody off. I've never voted for a republican before. He has my vote in 2004!

well you are right to a large extint. it was a funny joke. i think the democrats have better strategists, not necessarily the politicians. james carville is an ass, but very smart.

You know, if Bush pissed people off with intelligent, well thought-out actions, I might appreciate him more, but he's a moron. I can't be intrigued by a moron. Not that the Democrats have much more to offer, although compared to Bush, Clinton was an intellectual giant.

perhaps although one does not have to be a genius to be atleast a decent president. just a good manager. the cabinet secretaries do all the work- (short explaination)
more importantly to me as "dubya" as in george "w" (pronounced "dubya" in texas and south) stack up against the man he ran against that being al gore?
"w" had a higher college grade point average than all gore.
"w" has a masters in business administratiion from harvard university and al gore flunked out of seminary (masters in theology) at vanderbuilt university.

I've never been one to feel that the lesser of two evils is something to celebrate. It's entirely possible that we would be worse off with Al Gore, but that doesn't mean we're in good shape with Dubya. That's like saying I'd rather have Qadafi than Hussein run the country. Both suck.

its a bit OTT (over the top). So whats your opinion on the current republican administration?
(not that I think democrats are any better, with their lily livered convictionless opposition. gah).
