Because the current Bush admin has shown themselves to be such complete babies?
Because the humanitarian situation in Iraq urges for Maslovs basics (Eat, @#%$ and Sleep) before any democratisation can even be dreamed about. Noone is going to vote who's starved to death or died of contaminated water, right?
Not that it matters, since Russia is going to block the idea of lifting sanctions, outside the "OIL for FOOD" program, before the much talked about Weapons of Mass Destruction has been found! So you better plant.. errr go and look for them.

Hey Galmin, if you are really so concerned about the people of Iraq, why don't you go dump on the Russians for continuing to block the sanctions lift? Might it be because the plight of the Iraqis was never your agenda in the first place? (Ya think?)
I'm beginning to think the name of this forum should be changed to "The Personal Vendetta/Whining Room".
Seriously, give it a rest man!

Duh, I justs did. I should probably have written "the damned Russians" and "once a commie always a commie" so you would understand.
Though it is actually extremely easy to appease the Russians. Simply provide the WMDs secret service had such a vast and solid knowledge about that it was good enough to go to war on.

Oh obviously, that's why I write things like: "Because the humanitarian situation in Iraq urges for Maslovs basics before any democratisation can even be dreamed about".

Yes I do thank you very much, you should try it sometime.

"Yes I do thank you very much, you should try it sometime."
Don't ask him to do that, Galmin, because if he were to start he might get round to wondering what an 'anamoly' is, and whether it has any connection to an 'anomaly'.
Historians might one day record that the early decades of the 21st century were dominated by the Children of the Moronic Inferno, who wore expensive sunglasses but couldn't spell words from their own language, until the Children of Old Europe woke up, united and put them in their place ....

"I don't know you....damn sure don't want to."
Mutual, matey. The problem is I don't have much choice - every time I switch on the TV or radio, read a magazine, visit a music store or use the internet, right-wing American culture and politics are shoved down my throat.
I apologise for the personal remark, but you guys just set an aggressive tone, even when you're trying to be polite. It's just the way you are. I'll stay 'healthier'? Was that a threat?
I don't like your culture and I don't like your politics. Need more clarity? I'll never get to miss you guys unless you go away .....
