Hi J -

I know you sent this shout out to Mike B, but I had to let you know that I think this is a fine song with excellent production. The topic of unrequited love and/or getting along without the "love of one's life" still makes for some of the best and bittersweet of music. Great lyrics, superb performance, well conceived and carried out - I hope you share more here. Good work, keep it up! :yo

(of course, Mike's thoughts can differ from mine, lol)

Hey Ron,

Thanx so much for your kind words. I didn't write the song..just trying to gather some opinions for the group.

BTW..your website is awesome..did you design it yourself?

Take care,

Jen

You really don't look....

like Jennifer......

Nice trick! :D :me

....and I hear only male voices in your "Without You-Snippet"

However... this is a perfectly and very tight produced

ballad, with a lot of Michael Jackson flavor in it!

Absolutely professional standard and radio ready.

The harmony vocals are fantastic and the whole track

is really ear-teasing

The problem I have with it, is the fact that it "sounds like".

But it is definitely a marketable track and should be of

interest for label officials and finding a lot of fans.

I miss somehow some sort of climax in the track towards

the end, an acoustic guitar solo for example or simply more

build-up and playing with volumes, to achieve some sort

of 'final eruption'. :)

Y'know, I'm not a cig smoker, Mike, but after reading that I had to light up and bask in the afterglow! :eyebrow

Hey Jen,

You're more than welcome, the artist(s) is talented and the production top notch - so it's easy to praise! I am one of the writers reviewing indie artists' releases at Demorama.com and much of the stuff that gets submitted for review isn't anywhere near as enjoyable as this. I'd suggest submitting this work, but ya never know which reviewer it would be assigned to and just what side of bed the reviewer got out of that particular morning!

Thank you for compliment - but my site is actually in transition now and I'm having fun trying out new stuff. I prefer a simple look that loads quickly and is easy to get around in. I'd be happy to add a link to your pages & music ppl you work with as I'm developing it, I'll drop an email your way. Cool shockwave intro you have at your place, BTW.

But a "nice work" should go to the artist, this cut is really something like I'd expect to see/hear on "Soul Train". Good sound.

take care

First off thanx you guys. :) I really appreciate your honesty.

The artist is 3T. I had nothing to do with the song..but I know they wanted opinions on their song..and I thought it would be kool to get some from some pros. Mike..it's funny that you mentioned the Michael Jackson thing..because they are Michael Jackson's nephews.

Ron..thanx so much again..and I would LOVE to be linked on your site.

YOU and your tricks! ;) :me :aua

I gladly told you my neutral opinion, but I did not

want to go so far that Quincy Jones maybe sat

in the production room! :lol

The track is damn cool, as I said before and I still stick

to that Acoustic Solo guitar (Lenny Kravitz just made it 'in') :)

Ah! I'm just listening now and yes there's a lot of Michael Jackson-esque flavours about it. Mixed with the current boy bands! I think they'll definitely be compared to him. Especially if they are related! Yeah the production is good but the track isn't really catchy enough for me. I'd love to hear them do a more up-tempo number. Their voices are truly outstanding!

You're welcome again, Jen :boink

"The artist is 3T"

Is that the same 3T who did "Waiting For Love" for the "Men In Black" soundtrack or different ??

be happy & take care,

Thanx Chris! :)

Ron: Yep that's them! They also have an album that came out in 1995 called "Brotherhood".
