I don't think he wrote or sang many of the songs but he does love rock, and women of the wilder persuasion. ha ha

the members of Kiss all have their own comic book type personas. Gene Simmons was the demon. He was famous for having an extremely long tongue and spitting a lot of blood. (On a side note, he's also a male slut and takes pictures of all his thousands of conquests.) Gene has dated Cher, among other celebrities.

In the 70s no one had seen Kiss without their makeup. The press was constantly trying to get photos.

As for the other Members of Kiss you will need to know them as well...

This is Paul Stanley the Starchild or "lover" of the group. He usually trades off with Gene on singing lead.

Peter Chris, "The Cat" was the original drummer.

Ace Frehley was the lead guitar player. He was "the Spaceman" or "Space Ace." He did a lot of theatrical stuff with his guitar being on fire and floating, etc. (Note: My husband used to be Ace when he was a young teenage boy in a Kiss Tribute band. hahahaha)

If you think NSync or all these boy bands get attention really they are nothing compared to how huge Kiss was in the United States. Kiss was on everything from lunch boxes to dolls, etc. It was Kiss mania in the 70s.

I was not into Kiss. I was too little, but I remember it.
