NEW YORK - The evidence Colin Powell presented Wednesday, intended to convince members of the UN Security Council that a war in Iraq is necessary, instead convinced most members to improve the UN weapons inspections.
Why am I not surprised?

You know, it seems to me and some of my fellows,
that the U.S. want to have a 'showdown' with every
country not saying "yes, sir (U.S.), alright sir, yes, yes...".
U.S. Defense Guru Donald Rumsfeld today called
"Germany to be in line with Lybia and Cuba....
....we are thinking about economic sanctions".
U.S. war with.....
Afghanistan
Iraq
North-Korea
....next Germany?  Have fun!
Oh my... Rumsfeld really did p*** off ALL political
parties and people in Germany today with his "Germany = Lybia comparison..."
In quick public polls, over 80% of the Germans voted,
that Rumsfeld's remarks were the biggest and deepest INSULT
after the 2nd. world war.
Initiated by the bavarian governemnt, the white house has been asked to REMOVE Rumsfeld from his position immediately,
because he obviously can't distinguish between "friend" and "enemy".
As a response the U.S. ministry for foreign affairs issued a "warning" today, that U.S. citizens should not go to Munich this weekend, because Americans could be in danger...... that's a real curiosity
Anyway........ the boycott of U.S. companies and goods has already begun over here. The biggest McDonald's Restaurant in Frankfurt (where I live) was simply empty at high noon lunch time today.....
