I'd never heard of heartworm before this posting. So i did some net researching. Pretty damn nasty thing. I hope it doesnt spread. Did she have all the symptoms?

Hendrix has been steadily getting stronger daily. She just finished her anti-biotics course this evening. Her bark has changed! Probably cause of the huge lump and partly cause she had a tube down her throat....

She just seems happier and calmer. I think she appreciates what she's been thru

I'll let you all know the verdict after I've taken her to the vets for her stitches to come out. Thanks for all your lovely thoughts and words regarding Hendrix.
