sorry chris, It's not done yet...



Tomarrow...I swear!!

we ended up working with this jazz combo all night...

they did six tunes in 1 take each!!!! Which was GREAT!!



then.... they did 5 takes of "I Remember Clifford"...and after each take we'd say....DO IT AGAIN...but no...they would have to come in the booth and listen...and listen...and talk....and ponder...which is silly because all that was going on is that they didn't know how to play the tune very well...LOL!!!

and each time they walked away from the tune they got more and more out of the groove...





:)



Finally got a keeper...(It's a great tune...one of my favorite standards...especially with a vocalist...which this combo lacks..)





anyway...this story has a point!!...beyond the obvious parable..



wait for it!!



here it comes.....



I didn't have time to mix my tune!!!!

I'm in there tomarrow by myself and I'll have it for ya on time!!
