Actually, "douche" is a French word, meaning "shower".....
A "douche bag" is something that used to be used for feminine hygiene....
Calling someone (usually a female) a "douche bag" or a "douche" is a way of saying you don't think too highly of them....
Sometimes men are called douche bags, though.
As in "Sterling is SUCH a douche bag".... - ha..!
I guess it's a North American thing...

Well, just in case you find occaision to call someone a douche bag in Hong Kong, the English phonetic pronounciation is "doosh bag"....
(I know how careful you Brits are about using the Queen's English correctly....)
