Actually I'm quite disappointed !! I really wanted too answer yes to more of the questions, but alas, it was not possible.........

I don't know about geek ! I'd certainly be maimed if my wife thought I had a girlfriend............. or boyfriend?

I haven't met Chris (to my eternal shame, obviously I should have when we were in HK)

But I have met Theo........

It has too be said, I didn't get the urge to run the other way muttering "that man's a geek, no way I'm gonna be seen in a pub with him" (despite the fact that I was in one of my trendy phases when we met) :dang

OK, I'm a total geek and it didnt think I was. Here are the TRUE geek questions that should have been ask.

1. Do you have more than 5 computers in your house

2. Are all of your computers and printers a part of a network.

3. Do you have a wired and wireless network in your home.

4. Can you hack a website.

5. Have you hacked a website.

6. Do you know what PHP is?

7. Have you ever worn a costume to a film opening.

8. Do you visit electronic and computer sites often to drool over the onsale items.

9. Is there an item in your budget for computer hardware.

10. If yes to the above, is it over $100.00

11. Do you have more than one monitor hooked to at least one of your computers.

12. Are you attracted to members of the oposite sex based on how much they know about cars, computers and chess?

13. Do you oftern stare at your geek items in admiration.

14. Do you own a pocket protector?

15. Does your calculator include it's own programming language?

16. Do all of your digital appliances, i.e. phone, blackberry, PIM etc all have cords and interfaces to your computer and associated programs?

17. If yes to the above, have you modified the programs to enhance functionality?

18. Do you own a soldering iron and Oscilloscope?

19. Do you understand the principles behind the proposed Dilithium crystal technology?

And many more. That test is missing the essence of geekhood.
