Nah.
I think Yngwie cares more about playing as many notes as possible in the least amount of time, than he does about Music.
I also think he should be arrested and spanked by the Fashion Police.

Yeah his skills are ok but I agree with drooly for sure. I'm more insterested in high quality players rather than play anything as fast as possible-yet cheaply players.

Also if you like speed, do you like Gary Moore? His speed is extraordinary but not only that, it is always tasteful and useful and not just nonsense speed, playing any nonsense as fast as possible, it's always good. You know what I mean? Especially in his old days. He doesn't use as much speed in later years.

I'm not downing Malmsteen, but I think what esa is trying to say is that gibberish at any speed is still gibberish.

You need to check out Gary's old stuff not the famous stuff like Still Got The Blues, I mean the stuff that people haven't heard of before he made all that. His stuff from the 70s and 80s etc.... I'm sure you'll like that more....
