She's the one I visited regularly in London. She suffered a lot, but smiled through it all. Her strength was phenomenal. In the end she had a very beautiful and peaceful death. She was the one who encouraged me to write songs, even through my own self doubt.
I'm sure her soul will be at peace wherever it is now.

My condolences Debbie.
I don't know if this helps or is constructive at all,
but I have two children and before the birth of both,
somebody in the family died.

Quote: You simply can't forget her
The moment you have met her
Your heart will never ever be the same
Tina, Tina, nobody else but Tina
That's the little lady's name
And once you've gone and kissed her
Give up you can't resist her
Your thoughts will wear her picture like a frame
Tina, Tina, nobody quite like Tina
That's the little lady's name
She'll merely smile and in a twinkling
You'll swear that smile contains a star
Before that smile you had no inkling
How much in love you really are
Let others look for angels
I have no time for angels
I've found someone more than just divine
Tina, Tina, no sir you can't have Tina
Tina is mine all mine, Tina is mine all mine
- Frank Sinatra
I'm sorry Deb...God Bless You...and Tina.

you are the best!
Mike, funny you should say that, I know a few families where someone died and someone was born...
My aunt was dying to see the bubba - she'd been bugging me to have one for a long time, and I'd been giving her weekly updates. Funnily enough, her own daughter is pregnant too and her baby is due on exactly the same date as mine!!! She's having a girl and I'm having a boy.
Seismic, what a lovely song! thank you! Glad to see you here.
Drooly, Theo, Paul, thanks so much. Drooly, yes, bubbas know it all hahahaha. This one certainly seems to, or does every parent-to-be talk like that???

My Father moved on in 2002. Two weeks later, his first Grandchild, (my Grandson...), was born..
There's comfort in that...

Thanks Chris. Yes I was, very. But she suffered a lot and I'm glad she's out of it now. In the end she was well prepared to go, had the priest at her bedside, her husband and brothers. Till the last month she was fighting with every inch of her. We often said she stayed alive through sheer will power and zest for life!
Drooly, its funny how births happen around deaths... Like I said earlier, I've noticed that too.

I'm sorry I missed this while passing through earlier, Debbie.
It sounds like your Aunt Tina was a special person.
I think the ways she impacted your life - and the lives of others - is probably the best legacy and testament that any of us could ever hope to leave; that some of her will live on in you.
take care, Debbie
Ron
