Another loony selling something weird -

The Face of Jesus

Is that how it is these days? The face of a religious icon appears in some mundane location, and the recipient has to share their joyful miracle by auctioning it to the highest bidder? :D

Someone's made a $50 bid, and you're right, the seller's probably organised it to get the ball rolling.

Can you imagine such a ludicrous scenario - a bunch of believers sitting around talking about the frail health of the Pope - then a vision of Jesus appears!

They rejoice in the miracle, thinking, "How much can we get for this, seeing as it's Easter and all...? How much would the public be willing to pay us to share God's miracle?" :insane

One day left to go - for a smelly, burnt fish Jesus face.

Both bidders are newbies, so the guy has to be doing it himself.

I hope when Jesus comes back, he picks up the miracle frying pan that the guy tried to sell, and whacks him over the head with it! :)

If it doesn't sell, do you reckon he'll give it a good scrub and use it once again? ;)

I'm not stupid. That's what that account is for.

From what I've seen, Axella, you seem to enjoy cooking.

I kind of enjoy that too. Blending flavours and spices is kind of like blending harmonies in Music.

Yes, this is true, Ken. It's all part of the creativity thing. I should write a song about baking cinnamon rolls. ;)

In actual fact, I'm going to put together a cookbook, all pages laminated, so that my kids have the recipes for all of the things they liked when they were growing up. That'll happen after the new CD. I may even shoot some kitchen segments for it on video.

I don't want them to have to miss out on anything, the way I did when my grandmother took her crumbcake recipe to the grave.

Hokay. - Wanna share recipes?

I have a good one for Chocolate Brownies with walnuts. Baked some yesterday...

I especially love Vegetarian recipes, - those that can deliver the "satisfaction factor" that meat dishes do, yet without meat or dairy....

Got any?

Well, I'm a vegetarian, and one of my favourite dishes is vegetable korma curry.

It's made with onions, other assorted vegetables, korma paste, and coconut milk.

It's not the "litest" meal out there, but it sho' do taste good. ;)
