I'm not really sure if this problem is on my end, because I receive hundreds of e-mails everyday (like today). :we

I'll look into my server logs but you should be also a bit sceptical that everything is 'fine' with your account...

Yes Ron, I've got yours - I'm furiously scribbling away, then scrunching up the pieces of paper and starting again!! LOL! Will get back to you tonight as today I have a client for work so am on 'best behaviour' etc.

The problem is on your side.

The error-message you have posted (THANKS!) clearly indicates that the problem is on the SMTP side of Yahoo and a sign for misconfiguration.

My server logs even don't show an attempt from any Yahoo Server to connect to mine.

Chris, the error message above does not report that "the recipient is unknown", it does say that the SMTP routine of Yahoo has a problem before even sending out any mail.

A connection to my server is not performed via SMTP when you are the sender, it's the POP3-Protocol instead.

Write that to Yahoo.

THis is their response:

Hello Chris,

The error message you have provided indicates we were unable to connect

with the recipient's email server. Our MTAs will make several attempts

to deliver the message before returning the message back to the sender.

We suggest having the recipient contact their email provider to inquire

if there were any server problems at the time you sent the message. If

their servers don't accept our email the mail admins should contact us

for further assistance.

HAHA! Well, like I said there's no indication over here that anybody from Yahoo.com tried to connect to my mail-server...

Funny enough.... I thought I revive my old hotmail.com account today to send you an e-mail and guess what I got?

Needless to say that I NEVER did put you on the "blocked sender" list myself 'over there', I even don't use that account more than once or twice a year.......................
