Yup, fried chicken is great. Turkey's okay for the special once a year things.

I'm not much for the T-day get-togethers, I prefer to stay home, nap and catch up on some phone calls instead - you can talk with more folks with less calls when they're bunched together here & there.

People bring me leftovers, anyway. Mebbe the youngest bro will send along some venison this year, too. He bagged a Bambi or two this year. Venison is excellent, but sometimes has a bit of fat on it.

Geez, now I'm tired AND hungry, lol.

Hmm...I wonder why people who live in the country Turkey aren't called "Turkeys", instead of "Turks". Something for deep minds to ponder.....
