Favorite (or best) foreign-language songs? (non-English)

I was just wondering what songs/music others here would pick. Some of the faves that came to my mind were:

Spanish: "Rayando El Sol" by Maná

(and/or "Eres Tu" by Mocedades)

Japanese: "Sukiyaki" ("Ue o muite arukô") by Sakamoto Kyu

French: "Le temps de l'amour" by Françoise Hardy

Swedish: "Gamen" by Garmana

Hungarian: "Égben Irt szerelem" by The BabySisters

No titles come to mind, but I have a weak spot for mushy songs sung in Spanish....

God. I can't believe I admitted that....

hahaha - I forgot that Mike could link to some fave foreign songs at ICMM!! I think the only German-language song I know is "Du liegst mir im Herzen". Oh - and "99 Luftballons" by Nena...."Hielten sich für Captain Kirk".

Drooly, there's classic Canadian-language songs, too - Llke "We're Here For A Good Time" by Trooper. So have a good time, the sun can't shine everyday!

What do you think are some of the best songs written in the English language?

Would it be correct to say that "Rayando El Sol" might translate best to "it's like trying to reach out and touch the sun"? I've heard that the feeling of the song title means something more than just the words. Maybe a regional phrase or saying that doesn't say the meaning (or feeling) as well when it's translated into English?
