Sheeesh - the guy's fingers must be worn down to teeny little stubs....
Looking at the discography, I've obviously heard tons of his stuff, but never heard the name before...
Bass players, huh? They never get the limelight...

Yeah - but that's because he also writes, sings lead, and is usually the Front man....
Sting's unusual....
I mean - people that just play bass, no matter how tasteful or talented they may be... - always seem to get very little recognition....
(Except from their fellow Musicians....)
And I think that's what makes great bass players so good. They focus on providing good support for the actual song, as opposed to trying to get attention for themselves....
That's what bass is all about....
