I really like what I am hearing so far.

Wish I could hear the tunes in hi fi.

The plan was to disable d/l because I need to get a consensus on that, but in doing so it disabled the hi-fi option too. Glad you liked em - they're quite cool in hi-fi... We plan to release a CD of this radio-friendly stuff. Dyu reckon 5 - 6 songs on an EP would sell? or maybe a single?

Nice vibe..some really cool chord changes...

Some very tasty guitar work.

Something is bothering me about the mix, but I can't define it...

Lead vocal is cool - maybe it could be doubled to "fatten" it a tad?

Nice melodic tune...

The low vocal harmony on "Set me free" sounds a bit too loud to me - it seems to fight with the lead vocal....

I'm listening for the 3rd time....very appealing tune - sounds better each time I listen....

Who wrote the lyrics/melody?

I assume the guitarist arranged his own parts? He certainly adds a LOT of the appeal to that song..(in my opinion...)

Hard to say who wrote what. We all wrote the whole song. I have to say on this particular song initially most of the melody was mine, the concept and lyrics, but it went through so many changes and iterations that in the end it was a truly joint effort between all three of us. We got a tight melody and lyrics after it all. The guy who did the lead - Buffy, has a superb set up at home. The way we work is we all get together, have a concept, sometimes the guys have a baseline/chords, and we all go away and make something up on it, get together again, finalise the song, then I get into the recording booth and deliver! The Buffy does all the production, male vox and mixes etc. Both guys I work with are very very talented.

I reckon its a very radio friendly tune... have you heard Sun and Moon? That's the other one on there. The vocals on that one are nice and broad.

another think - it makes a big difference in hi- and lo-fi. Should listen to it full blast when its in hi-fi.... the lo-fi mix makes it a bit too toppy.

The hi mp3 wouldn't play here in cybercafe. I'm playing the real audio.

Set me free is a pretty little pop song. The mix is not very good though for a radio mix (that's what real files are like). At times your vocals are loud then others it's too quiet. I think some wonderful mastering is needed.

Sun & Moon - I've heard this one before in the works. It sounds even better now! I like this more than Set me free! It sounds pretty fab even through real player.

I need to listen to these on a hi-fi link - so do I get a specially signed CD? With your topless photo as the cover? :wgrin
