Last week, Kate Cassidy did join MBAF (Mikeburn And Friends band...

...or you can also say Kate Cassidy and friends band :D :D :D

...errr... KCAF HAHAHA reminds me for Kentucky Fried Chicken :D :D )

not only for a gig, but also for a studio recording session.



The now finally mixed outcome is:



"Timeshift"

Fantastic job. This song really showcases Kate's vocals. Probably the best of her vocals I've heard. The power has a soul feel to it.

Lovely production. This sounds like those slick 70 songs. Kate sounds like an awesome R&B singer from that era. She sounds black :bigeyes This is great! Good work Kate! Good work to the backing band!! :wgrin

Forget the band, Kate makes every band sound good! :l



And without Rory.... I think there would be way less

good mood around and nobody would always pull the pints! LOL



Besides that he has a good ear and can always deliver

valuable feedback like "this sounds good to me" or "Mike, you sound terrible right now again!" :D :me

Havent got a clue what all those machines do, apart from flash lovely green and orange lights with the odd red one :cute

Its these beer breaks I dont know what i would do without the use of my right hand:g



Where else can you go for good beer and music thrown in for free:bmutant

Kate is realy happy that she is singing again after such a long break

Cant believe that so much talent didnt sing for any length of time. It must have been very hard.



I had a break of almost 8 years, not even karaoke or church choir... what joy it is to be singing again. And with every gig the voice gets bigger and stronger.



Life is good... now if only I can get my assignments done that would make me sleep better!
