Actually, I've been gone so long cause I thought I'd start the new year by giving Larree some peace...
In reality, I've been working like 10-12 hr days in Florida over the last couple of weeks. I was due to arrive back in HK, but as usual, everytime I sit on a domestic plane in the US it gets delayed by at least an hour and a half, and my flight from FL to Chicago was no exception. I therefore missed my connection to HK (and all the other Asian connections) and had to wait overnight in Chicago. I got back a few hours ago. Missed a day at work too, but got some stuff done on my laptop on the 16 hour flight.
While at the airport I tried pay for breakfast with my credit card, but it was refused. I called the hot line and discovered they had frozen my account after someone put through THREE charges of US$1030 EACH on Jan 10th. I shall have to fax them to investigate and refuse liability.
Also on Jan 10th we hired a car from Hertz, to drive to Disney. The bill that finally came through was double what I expected. They threw in a ton of insurance which I HAD NOT agreed to. I hope I can find the form I signed - I got careless with it because I couldn't expense it. Damn.
All in all, I had a fun time. Too bad it ended with me being cheated twice. Sigh. What a life.
Anyway, I missed you all, and hope everyone had a wonderful new year. I shall be posting pics when I get a moment. Have rehearsal tomorrow and a gig next week. Wheeeeeeeeeee

Yes, it was an adventure wasnt it? And when we drove down to Disney, first time driving on American roads (right side vs left) I called it Abe and Debs marvelous adventure hahahahahaha. It was tense but a lot of fun ripping down Floridas turnpike at 75 mph.
