Electric Eel Shock are a mad Japanese trio that have been touring around the world for the last 18 months and have another six months to go before they take a proper break.

They are currently in Europe for rest of November AND December - catch them if you can!!!

-----------------------------------------------------

Electric Eel Shock played the Rock-it Festival in Hong Kong and Gian, the drummer ended up being arrested for his stage attire, the next day and ended up being fined US$32 after hours of explanation.

I'll email the band & their entourage this thread so they

can see the pics - so please BEHAVE!! Thanks!

I met Kazuto Maekawa (Bass) and Tomoharu 'Gian' Ito (Drums!) plus their girlfriends courtesy of Kumi - our local DrumJam guru. On their ONLY day off within a six month period!

Two french drummers plus Kim (SOS):

Shirley & whatshisname (sorry! It was such a cute name I forgot it....) & Uncle Joe:

After lunch, almost everyone strolled off to the beach; for swimming, fishing and chill-out time.

By the way, this is what they look like on stage:

Great pics, Chris! :)

BTW, there's a British punk band called Far Q with a fully naked drummer. Could this be a new trend? :D

You pronounce the 'Q' as in 'queue!' It sounds very rude, on purpose! :D I had to introduce the band last year at Glastonbury, that's how I know. They are a very popular band cos they were booked again for this year's festival. I wonder how much of their attraction is because of the naked drummer? LOL Actually they play an excellent & energetic set!

These guys have a fun, raw punk-ish sound. Quite nice!
