"Numb", a song I wrote many years ago, was the most downloaded song on ArtistLaunch.com on New Year's Day 2001. I still have no clue why. Anyway, I just finished a remix. As usual, all comments positive or negative are welcome.

Numb - hifi stream

Yeah, they seem to roll off at about 150-200hz. I tend to not leave much top on the bass, so my guess is that's what's going on.

I know it's definitely not your thang. Thanx for checking it out any way.

Having a listen. It's a bizarre intro that I really like. Sexy voice. Love the way the vocals are delivered! I like it!

Reminds me of some of those post-punk British bands. Does it use some of the same chords as "Hello I love you wont you tell me your name?" that's another song it reminds me of. If you don't mind me saying!!!

The mix? Sounds good to me! :l

Wow, Chris, thanx! :bcool The chord structure & rhythm are similar to Hello, I Love You, now that you mention it. But Hello is A-G-A-D (according to the online TAB I looked at). The chorus of Numb is G-Fm-Bbm-G.

Thanx for listening!

I don't know the songs, but Olga does. :) OLGA=On-Line Guitar Archive (www.harmony-central.com/G...tab.html). You can find the tablature and chords for almost any popular song.

Cheers.

PS - I was listening to TOL last night. I really like your voice.

Yep, that's me doing everything but playing the drumz -- that's my buddy Shannon on drumz.

Since you said I sound sexy, I guess I sound taller than I really am. :hat

yes, but I enjoyed it - very passive agressive song, lol. And the almost-sung mostly spoken vocals add to the mood. I really liked the lyrics. Very cool.

Cheers

Thanx much, Debbie!

Here's something a little lighter and not as bitter.

Prost!
