David Hasselhoff has a new covers album out in Germany. It includes La Isla Bonita, Country Roads, and These Boots Are Made For Walking.

Hehe, we used to refer to Country Roads as the German National Anthem. Whenever it would come on, almost everyone would sing along. But most would pronounce it "cow-ntry raods". That used to always crack me up.

I would subscribe that (the new German national anthem country roads). So they don´t have to use an old "sung out" one from us (Austrians)! :box

On the other hand, they at least changed the lyrics. If Bavaria would rule Germany they wouldn´t have done even that. (The original line was "Gott beschütze Franz den Kaiser!") :wtf
