Yes I live in Hong Kong and there's not been a NOTICEABLE change although things slowly change but nothing too bad! We still don't vote for our man-in-charge. What has changed is that people seem a little more aware of politics and rights - don't know if you heard about our peaceful protest march on 1 July?

Well I really didn't think that there was going to be a whole lot of changin in Hong Kong....I see the possibilty of China changin towards the capitalist views after they get that influx of MUNY. I didn't catch the protest....what were they protesting? The right to protest? . We tried that over here and all it did was make our gov't stronger and they wrote laws for proper protest. Get a permit so we can monitor the protest and stop it if we don't like the way it's going. A false sense of public authority.

hahaha China already has a lot of MUNY hahahahaha We were protesting an article that was going to be added to our basic law which would restrict our freedom - the funny thing is - I think you are right and that since 9-11, the STates have the law in place 'to protect the American freedom' - interesting. Hmmm
