What's the attraction of a drum machine, any drum machine, nowadays, when you can do all that on a computer with so much more versatility? No offense, just wanna know.

I mean, a full computer with great sound card and software (like Native Instruments Battery + Cubase SX might be in the ball park of what you paid. And then, you could trade samples, shift stuff around on a large graphic grid, etc.

?

well Dan, you do have a good point but you also don't get a real feel like you can with the Machinedrum. Another thing is that hardware even now still sounds better than software. Wait til I get this thing and post some new music with it. You can hear the difference that machine will have on my music. It makes noises which I love that no software can duplicate. :)

Er, no, if you render to a wav file you have the best that can be, no hardware involved, even if you had a cheapo sound card.

But I wish you much sexual joy with your new hardware. I know I'd be having my way with it, if I spent that.

:D
