I've been wanting to travel to Europe for quite some time, and I felt it would tie in well with Frankfurt. I'll also be going to France and England....





I arrive in Frankfurt on Thursday, August 7, and leave for Paris on the 11th.......





Cool, huh.......?....:)

Well, leaving Frankfurt on the 11th is tentative, Chris......





I've kept my itinerary pretty much open while I'm in Europe.....







The only thing that is firm is my flight home from Heathrow (London) on the 21st......





That's the way I want this trip to be..... - I can pretty much decide from one day to the next where I want to go or what I want to see........





And Europe is small (compared to Canada), so it should be fairly easy to get around..... - I think I'll travel by train......

Itz's usually band practice day.... so I'll pick you

up and you can forget your jet-lag during a session! ;) ;)



Well..... Europe may be small compared to Canada...

....but it's much hotter (today +38... tomorrow's forecast 41 degrees Celsius). DON'T forget to pack short trousers and light shirts!!!!



BTW...... It's 1,200 kilometers from Hamburg to Munich......

.....5,000 kilometers from Scotland to southern Spain DUDE! :lol ;) ;) ;)

Mike - that's so kind of you to offer to pick me up, but I arrive in the middle of the night, and it will be very easy for me to take a Taxi........ - I'll be travelling light......





You'll be able to reach me at the Maingau on Thursday..... - I'll be registered as "Ken McEachern" - not droolymutt...;)







I see they don't have air conditioning at the Maingau... - oh well....







I'm sooo looking forward to this trip.........







I'm packing now - getting all my ducks in a row...... My friend Brian (our lead singer) will be taking care of my cats, plants, etc.....

You never know.... in between 24 hours the temperatures

can drop by 10 degrees or more.



However... the weatherforecast says HOT and likely around 30 degrees the whole next week.



Don't worry about big gifts...... maybe some original Canadian

Mike - my flight arrives in Frankfurt at 11:10 a.m. on Thursday, August 7.





(I thought it was in the middle of the night, but I had forgotten about the time change......)





And sure - I'll bring you a carton of DuMaurier cigarettes..... that's what I smoke....
