Well after the operation on my tendons, then they'll start thinking about the bones. They said 8 months in total. :rant

I'd rather be pregnant :toc I could walk around then at least. But then again, I wouldn't be able to drink alcohol.

Sod it, I already have people ready to help me up and down stairs so I'll stick to a wrecked right foot :bonk

Gonna go in today for the doctors to check when they can operate on my tendons. Hopefully, they will say next week so I can go to Wanchai live this weekend.

2 weeks down, 30 weeks to go :yeah

I'll keep ya all updated, or Chris will. Depending on my mood :warrior

I hope you heal superfast.

Chris! dyu get snakes often? We once chased a cobra around our house in India - we had to kill it of course, which was sad. It was easter and blisteringly hot. Mustve come out to sun itself. Our dog went haywire. Imagine my mom, dad, us kids, and all the neighbours! :sensational

Deb...my Dad was stationed in India for a while during WW2 before moving into what was then Burma, or Hell if you were fighting there I guess....he has told me many a story about Cobras coming into the barracks and them climbing the walls!! :lol

They solved the problem, though, with the help of a local...they adopted a pet Mongoose and made it their mascot....no more Cobras!! :thumb

He still corresponds with that guy today...really cool...they're both in their 80's now...:)

yikes.......!! and wow and holy smokes....

didn't your pets go wild about the snake??????

sheesh.

too weird - a snake in the kitchen.....

wow again.

about a year ago, I had my balcony door open - around 11:00 p.m. - and a BAT flew in....

My cats went ballistic... - after about 10 minutes of flying around, and me guiding it, it finally found the door back out...

poor thing must have been terrified, with 3 cats leaping at it like kangaroos....

argh... - what if a snake gets into your bed while you're sleeping???????????

Grass snake? Yep - we have a lot of grass here! :wgrin

We have lots of snakes here - I once had to heart-breakingly kill a baby cobra that was sitting outside the front door, the dogs didn't care but it was kind of distracting for me. There's a cobra that lives by the front gate. A banded krait lives somewhere in the garden and occassionally I see other snakes - had a rat snake in the kitchen last autumn - I smoked it out - I was still wearing contact lenses then - I don't know if I could do that again - I was burning 100 joss-sticks!! Oh my kitchen is a seperate building to the rest of the house.

I've not had a snake in this house but in the old place down the road, I had snakes constantly, I once killed one accidentally by shutting a door (it was slithering through the hinges) - 1/2 a snake landed on my shoe and I was like "Oh sh*t - I didnt' even see that!" hahahahahahaa

I'm not too scared of them but they can make me jump!
