ok, ok... - I'm listening.

I don't like it.

It's weird.

Not that weird is a BAD thing.

I just don't like it.

wow - some INCREDIBLE stereo imaging there - the music just JUMPED out of my speakers.

But I still don't care for the tune, in spite of the superb musicianship and production.

And I am not going to lie and say that I didn't like it because I did like it. It reminded me of music I listened to and played sometimes in the late seventies and early eighties. But it surely is not what I would call "ground-breaking" music. However, a Larree solo would make it sound a whole lot less generic. And that is not meant as a diss of the solo. I just know what I am capable of as a player on a jam like that.

I think both tunes sounded good. Different styles to be sure. I don't think either guitarist could copy the others solo note for note, though. Mike's contribution reminded me of Jeff Beck; especially with the use of the wammy bar. That's not easy. Larrees contribution (which was produced better, BTW) had a more modern vibe....he is (you are) pretty fast with the fingers. Reminds me of Trevor Rabin. Both good, just different.

Less talking......more listening, guys. (Music is the point here, right? You have to listen.)
