Yes.Exactly my point! she deinies it but she flaunts her looks. If she wasn't attractive would anyone pay much attention to her music?

You should take the time to go through all of her tracks.

You can't judge her from one song. There are some really

crappy ones, but also absolutely brilliant pieces IMHO

Still she needs shaping and another influence

(band mates and producers), but she's not that old

like us

I've heard a definite improvement in her work since I've known her....

So I can tell - she's been working hard at her craft...

And of course - better production would help...(hint, hint....)

Chris, I think her camera presence was fine... very appealing, in fact.- but I think the post-production/video editing was amateurish - with Pro post production that could have been close to World Class.

She has said that she thinks she is "old". She is in a hurry. She thinks that labels are only interested in young, slim, pretty girls.

I feel that these days looks are more important than talent with a large percentage of labels. One only needs to look at zines to see that trend.

She has had one offer that she was smart enough not to sign but the pressure for her to not turn down the next ofer which I am fairly certain will come up will be intense. She will prolly succumb to it. Pris will prolly get signed but I strongly suspect that they will pressure real hard for her to change her music and also push her to conform to their idea of image. If she signs her choices in those regards will be few if any.

Drooly - maybe my idea of stage presence and yours is different but I found it difficult to actually watch the whole song - it was great to listen to but my eyes wandered off.

I actually think someone like Alex Bach has more stage presence but her songs are weaker.

I think it's a taste thing. Yidneth persona isn't a strong woman - this is only my personal opinion of course - I'm drawn to confident strong women that's all.

I agree the production wasn't great. Did Yidneth look into the camera? Did she draw me into her words?

Phil- why does it annoy you that Yidneth uses her looks? We all use whatever we can to achieve our goals. If her looks help her, sure why not use them? She still has to have talent to maintain longevity in the business.

True we should all utilize what we can to draw some attention, yet that can be overdone. I use my looks too. Surprised? My new CD, "Once upon a time" which will be on a new UK label, details forthcoming, has a photo that is geared toward women and possibly gay men. Sure, why not? Yeah, I am a bit scattered in my viewpoint. It bugs me when people over flaunt but then I am guilty of over promoting at times, as well. Representing ourselves is really difficult, well speaking for myself, irony intended.

To me, as a man, it's her delicacy and vulnerability that pulls me in...

Anyways... - with good Management, I think she could have a Future in Music.....
