Debbie-
My first time in India was in 2000, but the band was there in 1998. We went back again in 2001. That's when we were at the Catholic Club. The crowd at the Chowdiah was great. They were really into our music, and made us feel like stars. The crowds at the various clubs in Bangalore were large and into it. We played some sort of big party attended by BP reps (who were sponsoring us) at some country club in Bangalore, and there were about 1200 people there. We met some musicians in Bangalore, some guys that had a blues band, but I don't remember the name of the band. A guitar player named Peter. The food everywhere I went in India was fantastic. My stomach was never messed up, I felt like I was eating real healthy. Indian food really agrees with me. A writer for the Times of Asia (I think), did our tour the last time. Ajit Saldanha. Do you know him?
No one ever bit me on the ass while I was there. Should I be insulted?
That's quite a story about the nun. I can't believe she didn't let you go!
Do you go back to India much? I want to go back as soon as possible. What an amazing country.

Drooly, Rod, ya kill me. hahahahahaha
Sethr, Nobody bit you in the bum in India?? Bloody hell, wots the damn country coming to?? Go back at once and complete yer initiation rites.
Glad you enjoyed India. Bangalore and Bombay are fun places. I was there in June for my sister's wedding in 2001. We hired a band, and the band leader subsequently did the backing music for my Mother song - I kept in touch with him. Catholic Club... did you meet a guy called Eddie? No I don't know Ajit Saldahna - quite a common Mangalorean name - but I've been away awhile.
The nuns? hahaha boy do I have some stories about the nuns. I have a social theory about em too - that in india its about escaping from the dowry system, so no true vocation. Sigh.
SA, thank you very much. You didnt need to, you know that. . BTW, that's some rocking music you've got there! I love the feel of And So it Goes. beautiful tune, radically different from After Burner.
Hi Mike! how are you after your b'day celebrations??
hokay, very tired now, so to bed. have a great day all!
