If you don't know your marketing goals, you can't creat an approach that will get you there.

Creating a marketing program that targets the market you want to talk to is usually the most effective use of your advertising dollars.

Promotional products accomplish that in spades, for any budget and work 365 days a year. Way longer than most advertising media.

Your source for custom imprinted promotional products, advertising specialties, corporate gifts, awards, T-shirts, cap's, pen's, Quikoins, labels, tote bags, sport bags, portfolios, magnets, pins, screen printing, embroidery, hats, golf shirts, golf products, glasses, ceramic mugs, plastic bags, calendars, diaries, date books, folders, plastic cups, for tradeshows, meetings, reunions, weddings, parties, and special events.

That is the short list.

Nice marketing David. :D

I haven't marketed myself at all. I keep saying I will but never get round to it. Music at the moment comes a weak third place next to my day job and my studies.

I am encouraged though by the results I've seen other people getting through hardwork and persistence (and of course talent, but if you dont shout it, what the hell).

Cheers

For me it's all about personal satisfaction. I spent many years making music that nobody except my close friends ever heard. I was very happy then and like you I had other priorities.

Now-a-days, I do a bit of marketing because I love the fact that through the web it is easy to share what I create. I have no illusions about fame or fortune, just the desire to hear others music and share my own.

Do what makes you feel good.

Ted - Yes, it is about personal satisfaction. I have some non-internet (thats because we dont have a full CD yet) stuff by my band Ignition. I had a couple of bars play it, and our gym. They loved it, promised to play cd when its ready (the two bars said during happy hour :D ). That felt really good.

I love people appreciating my music. I think thats what drives us all.

Sex appeal?? hmmmmmmmm gotta work on that. :wgrin

I actually LOVE marketing. hahaha For me it's a lifestyle not something I do every now and again. hahahahaha Sex is a good angle but not the only one - humans have a few things they love to have/own/want, don't they? :banana

Talking about marketing, I played the SOS CD I just bought this weekend in the car while my wife and I did stuff. She loved it bigtime. In fact she stole it from my car and put it in hers.

Word of mouth marketing at it's best.:ww :fades :fg
