Oh this is coool. Mike, you'd never guess that's not your real name. I mean I wondered, cause its not a German name, but its still a very normal name...
A similar thing happened to another girl a long time ago in India; I was in this all girl band, and we'd just finished dinner in this posh restaurant. We were all dressed to the nines and got up to dance. One of the [extremly sexy] members of the band (who also had an extremely sexy real name) saw someone she liked. So she went all slinky and sultry on us. Then this guy came up to introduce himself. At that point, our drummer decided to cut in on the game and introduced all of us by different names. She invented perfectly acceptable names for the rest of us, but for some reason called my sexy bandmate "Pankaj". You should've seen her face. The rest of us almost collapsed. It was the equivalent of calling Elizabeth Hurley "Agatha". Hilarious! Pankaj wasnt inclined to hang around much after that...

It doesnt matter what I say, you'll probably do the opposite anyway Drooly. I'm sure you'll now come up with something inventive to do with Pankaj and Peas...
I am from India originally - a mix of Indian, Scottish, Portuguese, English, Irish, and probably Chinese too, 'cept no one will admit it (I'm betting it was the milkman). Closest "pure blood" person I can trace is my Grandma, who's Scots, 84 and still alive in the UK...
