When I was 8 I visited Mother Teresa's Home for the Aged with my gramps and sis. And she was there - she knew gramps and came over to meet us, then she ruffled my hair and said "who's this little one??" I didnt know who she was - a smiling wizened old nun in a sari. But they had donuts for the occasion which smelled really good. I'm more pleased about my hair being ruffled by MT than shaking Tom Cruise's hand!

I met Chuck Norris when he came on my ship while I was off doing my bit for God and country (in the Navy.......which stands for Never Again Volunteer Yourself). Anyway, he is also very short (for a man). About 5'4''.

i've met so many stars i'm sick to death of them.... that's why i tend to interview indie artists now... they're usually so much more laid back and interesting... stars just want to talk about themselves all the time... some have even redirected my line of questioning so they could promote their agenda...
here's a good example... Jim Cuddy Blue Rodeo
MB: So, what do you want to talk about Jim?
JC: That’s sort of your job isn’t it? You’re suppose to do the questioning, I’ll do the answering. (laughs)
MB: OK, what do you like most about your job?
JC: Talking to people on the phone. (laughs)
MB: And your favorite color is?
JC: Awww that’s a secret! Not my personal life. No, I can tell you lots about the record. It was really enjoyable to make. This record was a bit like breaking through the clouds and finding some definition in our music, that we haven’t .....

Mb: I've got a million things to ask, as I'm sure all interviewers do...
GS: Let me start talking. It will help you a lot. It will give you a lot of meat to refer back to. First of all in June, I have a strange record coming out called "Kiss My Ass".

GS: Listen, it's better that I talk awhile and then you sort of bounce stuff off of me, because there's like twenty years to talk about and we won't get anywhere. I'll help you... We've got this record coming out in June, and then in July and August we've got an hour and half long video, "Kiss My Ass" the video, which we're editing now. Sort of "The Making of..." And....
