BB-Chris
The Canary Islands, my own favorite target for holidays for decades, are called here in Europe 'the islands of eternal spring'. Over the whole year the temperatures are around 25 degrees Celsius. The sun is very intense there, but due to the so called 'cold gulf-stream' in the Atlantic, the climate is very comfortable and balanced.
Did you know that Christopher Columbus started to discover America with his boats from the Canary Islands???
Here are two shots of my last trip to the Canary Island of La Palma:
(El Paso, maybe 'the' El Paso, which gave the Texan El Paso it's name )
(Sunset on the black volcanic beach of La Laguna )

Hey Chris,
next week? Coooooooooooool!!!
Mike just told me. We both went to a concert yesterday. He said you`ll arrive on Tuesday. I hope we can meet some evening. Except on Thursday - I`m gonna play a gig in Wiesbaden then. That`s about 20 Kilometers from Frankfurt. Just give me a call or ask Mike to do so.
