...they would not attack Jews on Jewish Holy Days. The Muslim hierarchy (NOT the common people!) has no respect for any of the world's other religions. They hate Jews, Christians, and everyone else who is not Muslim.

I have read the Jewish AND Christian bibles (more than one translation), and the Koran as well. I am way more into understanding and getting along than hating, but at the same time I do not "turn the other cheek" towards hatred.

...accept the concept of an "old and new" testament.

However, I have read the King James translation, as well as the RSV and a few modern translations of the "old and new" testaments.

Yes I know that, that's why I asked if you read both! I'm forever getting told by orthodox Jews that if Jesus was to appear today, he could sit down with a Jewish family and eat exactly as he ate 2000 years ago.

Then I always say to them but you don't believe in Jesus! Then they say, yes but if Jesus was alive today and we sat down to eat a meal.....

I prefer the Old Testament for stories and passion and fire.
