I've been invited onto a discussion panel to discuss OMDs &a

talking about Napster, and the on-going debate on music on line and what that inevitable trend towards music on the internet will mean to the music industry - who it will benefit etc. This will take place on Hong Kong radio Monday morning (tomorrow!).

What do you think I should say? Any opinions?



The show will air 9:00am Monday 2 September, Hong Kong time.

This is 15 hours ahead of California, I believe.

7 hours ahead of the UK.

6 hours ahead of Germany.

2 hours behind Australia.

it would be fun to hear what the general public feels about getting free music from artists who can't pay their rent, because they spend their time and energy creating that music.



do they realize that creating music, while it's fun, is also blood, sweat and tears? (i.e. work..)



I dunno... - I do music because I love it, and I give it away for free, with no regrets, but my heart goes out to those who can't pay the rent...



musicians, in general, don't seem to be the best business minds...



I guess that's a good thing...
