Those things are sooo heavy. Get a wide, padded strap if you're gigging. Your shoulder will love you for it.

Personally, I usually sit when gigging. Until I get excited.

I play guitar, and sing back-up and lead vocal. When I'm not singing lead, I often sit. Unless I get excited.

We're six in the band. I figure if the keyboard player and drummer can sit, so can I.

Unless I'm excited.

Which happens far too often...
