Yes, I agree. Life is too short to mope about...

But I have been disappointed too many times and it has had it's effect on me....

Still, I am a cheerful person. I express my disappointment in my music. Like therapy. :lol

ah! I see! Hey we all have disappointments in our lives. We just have to live with them the best we can. And my motto is 'we gotta have fun'.

So are your songs depressing then? I don't like writing sad songs. I like to write angry songs though......

I wouldn't call them depressing because I am not whiney. haha

I tend to express the disappointment with sarcasm, irony and some anger.

But no " Oh I'm so sad " crap.

hahahahahaha How about "I'm so depressed I could shoot myself" songs? Just kidding.

When I wrote my song "Goodbye" I had a real problem with the last verse, (man jumps to death.....) when a friend of mine killed herself by jumping and we spent ages deciding if it SHOULD go onto the Sisters of Sharon's album. And finally I said I couldn't be censored by other people's actions. What a relief, I kind of think it's the best ballad I've ever written and the only fictitious song I've ever written.... Ooops is that me being a bit revealing early in the morning! Morning!
