I thought if someone got busted for drugs in Hong Kong they just put them to death. That must just be Singapore & Malaysia I'm thinking of. A friend of mine was in Kuala Lumpur and some guy came up to him on the street and asked him if he wanted to buy some hash, my friend went running away from him so fast that he didn't look where he was going and nearly got run over by a car. America's drug laws are terrible now, I'm hoping to win lots of drug cases when I start practicing law. Our politicians are a bunch of hacks, they pass these absurd drug laws so they can go back and tell the old people in their districts they are tough on crime. It's absolutely ridiculous now, some of the states have sentencing schemes that look like this:

Rape- 5 to 20 years in prison

Murder- 20 years to life in prison

Possession of large amounts of drugs- Mandatory life in prison without the possibility of parole.



That's my rant for the day.

OUTRAGEOUS! Er - you are right - it's Singapore & Malaysia that are very heavy on drug users (including marijuana) Here in HK, we've got serious problems with 'Ketamine' and 'E'. But they don't hang anyone in HK for anything. That happens in mainland China.....
