I added some music to the start page of my band´s homepage (7 seconds of "Madhouse Window", a song of the upcoming new album).

Do you hear it?

How long does it take to load it?

Should I make the file (and the quality) smaller?

I'm on DSL right now (768Kbit Telekom-Standard) and the file needed less than a second to load.



The sound is cool.



No reason to change anything from my perspective :)

On a broadband connection in a cybercafe - it loaded pretty much straight away! :banana COOL

On my home computer I got "Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page. As a result, the page may not display correctly" - and I hear no sound. It must be my IE 6.0 - I experienced this with Flash sites often :( Sorry

Yes, Stephen made this flash verion for me and it requires Macromedia Flash 6.0 I think!
