For those who cannot use the browser client, or want to use something a bit better - then there is some good news!!

I have made an automatic setup of a small IRC program for Windows PCs. This IRC program is very easy to use. Its ready setup for most of the things for MP3Chat.

Installation

1) Download the file from

www.legendjsm.net/ukpg/mp...P3Chat.exe

Its less than a megabyte big so it will be quick to download.

2) Run the downloaded program, it installs the program to your computer after asking a few questions, just click OK, then Next, Next, Next and Next then Finish.

3) it puts an icon on your desktop that you can run, double click it, it starts the program.

4) Click the 'Tools' then 'Properties' menu.

5) Where is has '* Nickname *' put in Artist_Name, Artist-Name or ArtistName etc... etc... you just cannot use a space in the nickname.

6) Click OK

7) Click the button that looks like a Key to connect to the chat room Lots of info will scroll up the screen, just ignore that - thats the connection information. You will be automatically joined into the #mp3chat chatroom

Thats all!

This quite a basic IRC client, and will suit most people

However those that are experienced IRC users can of course use their own clients to connect...!!

When I tried to run the program after installing it said "HIRC - this program has performed an illegal operation" and the webpage doesn't seem to work for my home computer

It feels like one of them days again........
