If you want to have a good sound for your acoustic guitar, then DON'T use a pick-up system. This is only appropriate for live-situations on stage, to avoid endless feedbacking orgies...
The sound of an acoustic guitar is a combination of the plain string sound and the wood which is vibrating and unfolding it's maximum warmth some centimeters away from the guitar.
Maybe you can borrow for the recording days a AKG C-414 microphone incl. stand and pre-amp.

You also can use a Schoeps condenser... but I think the borrowing costs are more expensive than a little car
