I wrote a song called "Adrenalin" (English spelling & pronunciation - I think Americans spell as "Adrenaline" and pronounce the 'e') and the opening line was always my favourite:

"My heart's beating fast, it's not the caffeine, it's adrenalin"

I really wanted to use the word "Adrenalin" and was really pleased with the end result :D

*psst - this song is on Sisters of Sharon's "Underground Recipe" - I'm pretty sure you can hear it at the cdbaby.com site :D

I'd love to hear anyone else's interesting phrase or word. Thought I'd post this here as everyone at mp3.com is doing the 'emusic junkie' bit - hahahahahahahaha

Ohh... I have a song called "Adrenalin", and im American ;) hehe. It's no longer available on my page though as it's older and well... noticeably older. lol.

But I would say this phrase from a song I wrote called "Listen" in a collaboration with Mike Burn: "Take away this crown... It's based upon disarray... Listen, you cant stop the rain."

I guess cause the song as a whole has a pretty serious meaning, but in a symbolic way : :)

I have an unrecorded song which has the word "reformances" in it, sort of a word I made up that's a combination of reform and performances.

The line is

Your reformances never last too long

so I've got no spotlight for you

Americans dont pronounce "Adrenalin" different - it's just spelt differently?

Hey Tony & Mike - when I'm at home on Sunday I will take a close listen to "Listen" :D

Father Time - why's it unrecorded?

I guess it varies person to person, but I spell it without the 'e' .. and pronounce it how I spell it - "Adrenalin" :)

Hope you enjoy listening to Listen :cgrin

LoL.. I think the name of the song is fun to use in sentences... kinda like naming a song "my new song" ...

: hey.. did you hear "my new song"?

: yeah! i like "my new song"!

: huh!? its not yours.. its mine..

hmmm.. i need sleep sorry, lol :party

I actually think that is a very strong line - it stuck out the first time I heard your song!

"Eventually upside down turned around in the rain"

In one of my new ones called "The Island Shore". Actually in this song I think there are a quite a few lines that demonstrate how clever I was feeling when I wrote it ;)
