BTW.... except of one the 8 bells of the Frauenkirche were destroyed as well. The one which survived the firestorm is the bell "Maria" (note "b-flat") from 1518 and meanwhile has been reinstalled



All other bells were re-created/handcrafted again using midage-techniques over a long process (the cooling of the forms alone took over 6 months) and have the perfect tuning/tones.
